The War Department hosted former YouTube stars and professional boxers Jake and Logan Paul at the Pentagon last week, placing the celebrity brothers before uniformed troops and arranging a brief meeting with War Secretary Pete Hegseth.

The visit was later confirmed through official statements and social media posts.

Jake and Logan Paul shared photographs from their time in Washington, D.C., on Instagram.

The images showed them inside the Pentagon briefing room and meeting with government officials during a trip that included encounters with two cabinet secretaries.

On Sunday, the War Department posted its own photographs and videos from the visit. The department captioned the material, “Last Thursday, we welcomed Logan and Jake Paul to the Pentagon to meet with our warriors.”

Footage distributed by the War Department showed the brothers meeting with uniformed troops and addressing them.

The videos also captured Jake and Logan Paul speaking with Hegseth during their time inside the Pentagon.

Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Joel Valdez offered additional details about the visit in a statement.

“The Department of War was proud to host Jake and Logan Paul at the Pentagon this week. They toured the building, paid their respects at our 9/11 memorial, thanked our service members, and briefly met with Secretary Hegseth,” Valdez said.

Valdez also thanked the brothers for backing the armed forces. “The Department is grateful for their visit and continued support of our military.”

The reason for the Pentagon visit remains unclear. The brothers paid for their own transportation to Washington, D.C., and a Pentagon official separately confirmed that they covered their transportation to the installation.

The trip also took the Paul brothers beyond the Pentagon and into meetings elsewhere in the federal government. During the Washington visit, Jake Paul met with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

The Pentagon appearance comes as the War Department has embraced connections with celebrities, influencers and martial artists. That outreach has included bringing troops into prominent entertainment and sporting settings.

The event represented another instance of the department connecting uniformed personnel with a major public spectacle.

Hegseth has also taken an Apache helicopter flight with Kid Rock, an ally of the Trump administration.
