Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell is making good on his promise of transparency, pulling back the curtain on millions of taxpayer dollars funneled into woke pet projects instead of military readiness.

Parnell, who has been working with the DOGE team to root out waste, exposed a series of eyebrow-raising expenditures in the Air Force—none of which have anything to do with winning wars.
"So we promised you transparency at this Department of War and America, that is exactly what you're going to get, because you deserve it," Parnell stated.

"So at the DoW, we've been working hand in hand with the DOGE team, and as the Secretary said, we welcome that process, because that process will make us more lethal, and that means that our war fighters on the battlefield will be more successful, and that's what this process is all about."

Among the initial discoveries?
A staggering $1.9 million for "holistic DEI transformation and training", $3.5 million to support more DEI groups, $6 million to the University of Montana for a project supposedly aimed at strengthening democracy, and $1.6 million to the University of Florida for a climate study focused on Africa.

"You see, folks, this stuff is not a core function of our military. This is not what we do. This is a distraction from our core mission," Parnell declared, calling out the wasteful spending.
The Pentagon's initial review suggests these unnecessary programs could save at least $80 million—a figure that is likely to grow as the investigation continues.
"So stay tuned. Today's actions are just the start, more to come. This week again, we are working hand in glove with DOGE. So stay tuned in the weeks ahead, as we trim the fat, preserve the muscle, make the DoW more mission capable and more lethal," Parnell promised.

It’s a wake-up call for a military that should be laser-focused on national security—not progressive pet projects.
If these are just the first findings, one can only imagine what else has been lurking in the budget.
